PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE:
Amelia has a broad commercial practice, with experience spanning contractual disputes in the energy and resources sector, native title matters arising from mining activities, takeovers and schemes of arrangement, and corporate investigations, including ASIC examinations.
Before joining the Bar, Amelia was a solicitor in the disputes team at A&O Shearman, where she acted in large‑scale commercial litigation and international commercial arbitrations. She has worked on complex matters involving major resources projects, cross‑border contractual issues, and regulatory investigations.
Amelia commenced her legal career as an associate to the Hon. Justice Strk at the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Amelia holds a Juris Doctor with distinction and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia. She tutors in Civil Procedure at the University of Western Australia.
