PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE:
Clara Wren is a commercial barrister with a focus on resources, construction, infrastructure and insurance disputes.
Clara has acted in a wide range of commercial disputes, including construction, professional liability, misleading or deceptive conduct and complex contractual claims. Clara has experience in all aspects of resource projects from inception to disputes regarding infrastructure, operational matters and sales contracts. Her recent experience includes high value disputes and mega-litigation involving LNG and mining projects, joint ventures, state agreements and royalties.
Clara is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Practice with the Law School at the University of Western Australia. She coordinates the civil procedure unit.
Before joining the bar, Clara was a senior associate at Allens and completed a secondment to an iron ore producer where she managed contentious matters. She started her legal career as an associate to the Hon. President Steytler in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
