PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE:
Clara Wren is a commercial barrister with a focus on resources, construction, infrastructure and insurance disputes.
She has acted for resource companies, government clients, contractors and insurers in a wide range of commercial litigation and arbitration matters. Clara has experience in all aspects of resource and project disputes from inception to infrastructure litigation, and operational matters affecting venturers, and sales contracts. Her recent experience includes significant high value disputes involving mining projects, joint ventures, state agreements and royalties, as well as construction, professional liability, public liability, and complex contractual claims.
Before joining the bar, Clara was a Senior Associate at Allens. While at Allens, she completed a secondment to a major iron ore producer where she managed contentious matters for the iron ore group.Clara was educated at the University of Western Australia.
In 2006 and 2007, she was associate to the Hon. President Steytler of the Court of Appeal in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
