PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE:
Hannah has a broad trial and appellate practice in commercial law, public law and common law.
She appears and advises in a diverse range of matters in the Supreme Court, the Federal Court, the AAT and intermediate appellate courts.
Hannah has particular interests in statutory interpretation, judicial review, torts and inquests, inquiries and commissions. She also has appellate experience and accepts briefs in appeals in all areas of law.
As a member of Quayside Chambers in Perth and an interstate member of the Victorian Bar, Hannah accepts briefs in both Western Australian and Victorian matters.
Before coming to the Bar, Hannah was the Associate to the Hon Justice Kaye AM of the Victorian Court of Appeal, where she worked on commercial, common, and criminal law appeals. Previously, she practised as a solicitor in both commercial and public law litigation at Maddocks.
Hannah holds a Juris Doctor from the Melbourne Law School, where she received a prize for academic excellence and was an assistant editor of the Melbourne University Law Review. Hannah also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vienna, majoring in history.
