Penny practises in commercial law and public law.
Before joining the Bar, Penny was a senior associate at MinterEllison specialising in complex construction and project disputes.
Penny's experience includes advising and acting in large-scale construction and engineering disputes, contractual disputes in the energy and resources sector, judicial review proceedings, consumer law claims, and building regulatory matters. Penny assists clients with litigation, arbitration, and adjudications.
Penny is recognised in Doyle's Guide as a Rising Star in Construction Law (Western Australia, 2024). She is an active member of the Society of Construction Law Australia and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Penny holds a Bachelor of Laws with distinction and a Bachelor of Arts from Murdoch University. Penny was awarded the Vice Chancellor's Commendation for Academic Excellence in law.
